Bearly awake

I am sitting in the dark waiting for the bear to make an appearance. I want to see the shape of him before I do anything further. It is 12:30, about the same time I heard a bump last night. I am falling asleep. Perhaps he isn't coming tonight.

It is another beautiful day and my first job is to clean up after a bear got into my garbage. I have a feeling it is the very big very ugly ginger bear. Amazingly, he was able to lift the table and pull the garbage can out fom underneath without making a sound. Chucky and I slept through it. I am going to see it I can get some pictures tonight, because I am sure he will be back. What I don't understand is why he went past the box of apples and pears and a box of walnuts. I will post pics if I get any.

I must get myself out of this funk. Although it is grey, it isn't cold so I think I will take Chuck for a walk. Perhaps I will feel more like writing when I get back.
